The following section is where free form comments are added and attachments are made. HOMOLOGATOR'S REMARKS Give details of any variations of IWSF rules. List any alterations to the course, etc. during the competition. List any malfunction of equipment. Give any further information which might affect the Tournament Council's assement of the homologation. Tricks judged from handheld boat video camera, wireless feed to 20" TV's in judging area. Fixed camera utilized "wing mirrors", which presents extended views of areas outside the wake to the right and left sides, at the top and bottom of the video display, used as backup. Records set -- 1st Round -- Tricks -- Adam Pickos, 7700, AWSA Boys 2 Record 1st Round -- Slalom -- Caroline Hensley, 3.25@12m (52 kph) AWSA Girls 2 Record 1st Round -- Tricks -- Michale Briant, 7300, Australian Girls Record 2nd Round -- Slalom -- Caroline Hensley, 0.5@11.25m (52 kph) AWSA Girls 2 Record ** See note 2nd Round -- Tricks -- Adam Pickos, 7870, AWSA Boys 2 Record 2nd Round -- Tricks -- Michale Briant, 6970, Australian Girls Record Wireless Video Transmission used extensively for all events. Slalom boat path camera image transmitted wirelessly to judging area for monitoring and recording. Boat cameras (two) in tricks both transmitted wirelessly to judging area. One handheld camera used as primary for judging, with fixed view camera used for backup for both judging and timing. Both jump measurement camera images were also transmitted wirelessly. Altogether, used five wireless cameras -- one for slalom, two for tricks, and two for Jumping. Used channels 1 & 2 for Tricks, and 3 & 4 for jumping, and put slalom end-course on channel 1 (kept jump camera #1 off during Slalom event). Note -- Caroline Hensley Slalom performance Sunday June 20 (Round 2). Calculators reported a score of 2@11.25m (52 kph) which substantially beat Caroline's Girls 2 record performance of 3.25@12m set the previous day. Collected towline for measurement and then began documentation, went to collect boat path videotape for analysis and discovered that recorder had not been recording. As the event was still underway and the officials still in place, Chief Judge and Jury discussed the matter and decided that this fell under the "Failure of Tournament Equipment" provisions and offered Caroline a reride (with recording operational of course). Reride was taken, which produced a performance of 0.5@11.25m -- that is what has been officially submitted.
