List any alterations to the course, etc. duringthe competition. List any malfunction of equipment. Give any further information which might affect the Tournament Council's assement of the homologation. Trick event was judged from Video screens, displaying "from the boat" view of the trick skier's performance. This video image was transmitted live from the fixed camera in the boat, using wireless video transmission equipment, to a recorder and TV monitors in the judging area on shore. A camera was mounted on a support device above and in front of each boat's windshield, and set to observe a field of view approximately 40 degrees wide. We also had a shore-based handheld backup camcorder, in case anything would occur outside the fixed camera's view. We had no occasion to review that backup view -- all tricks occurred within the fixed camera's view. We used the Corson TrickTimer program for timing, based on the video feed from the boat. We found this a much more exacting viewpoint, particularly for judging where the ski was crossing the crest of the wake, than the more usual shore-based viewpoint.
