HOMOLOGATOR'S REMARKS This competition has been marked by a hectic weather on the Friday (all day) and the Sunday from 4pm on. But the saturday, even if sunny, was not exempt of difficulties : the slalom boat chose to breakdown on the saturday morning (lago 2) When it was repaired, the skiers tore off one gate buoy In the afternoon, it was the jump boat which broke down, to recover 15mn later, ...... and eventually completely give up 1/2h later ! We nevertheless managed to go through all the competition with the only exception of the Jump Final Open The storm was definitely too powerfull to allow any jumper on the water. Slalom was initially planned on lake 2 only. When we saw the weather conditions degrading on the friday, we decided to measure lake 1 so that we could use it to catch up the next morning. All the people available being busy at the time of measurement, I did it with two stations under the rain instead of polar. The rounds that took place on this lake are -14 boys and -17 boys slalom preliminary. They are the only rounds affected by this L instead of R homologation level. And there has been no record. PS on this point : as there was only one boat video, the slalom on this lake was judged with the lonely 4th judge on the other side of the lake !! The installations and the organisation at Recetto were (as usual ?) nearly perfect (due to a lot of good work from Dario ROSSI, thanks again). We used boat video for slalom and for tricks, both with excellent operator of the camera. The possible field of improvement concerns the jetty marshalls and cameramen : it would be easier to know who will be officiating a bit more in advance.
