The intent of this thread is for people to list the video capture card and system they have and how it works. Dave Clark produced quite a good spreadsheet showing the following cards working:
ATI
TV Wonder VE

AVerMedia
AverTV USB

Avermedia
TV98

Best Data
VCC100 PCI

Creative Labs
VB SE100

Pinnacle
Studio PCTV

Winnov
Videum VO

I'll have to see if I can format it for this list

Here is Dave Clark's full compatibility spreadsheet published in 2000.
Obviously, things have changed since then. Other folks having new cards
may want to add to this by filling in the row headings for their particular
card and adding it as a message to this thread.

Thanks.

My AVERMEDIA EZ CAPTURE card is working very well both for VJ and VT
with powerful computer. It surprising that so cheap card (less
than 50 USD) can work no
problem. For VT even ½ size and 25 pps /PAL/ is no problem.

Best regards
